ColorAssist Lite: Real-Time Color Capture Tool
ColorAssist Lite is a utility application designed for iPhone users, allowing them to capture RGB values in real-time using their device's camera. The app converts these values to the closest color name from a comprehensive dictionary of nearly 900 colors, and additionally provides RYB, HSL, and CMYK values. Users can also see the corresponding HTML color code and name, making it a versatile tool for designers and artists alike. The application features an intuitive interface where users can touch a color square to access detailed information about that sample at any time.
The app includes various modes, such as 'Auto' for automatic focus and contrast adjustments, 'Lock' to fix the current settings, and 'Target' for selecting specific areas on the screen for color sampling. Users can manage named color sample sets on the Edit screen, with options for in-app purchases that enable emailing color samples, managing multiple sample sets, and more. Customization options on the Options screen allow users to select desired color conversions and adjust the sampling parameters, enhancing the overall user experience.
